This area includes 5 forest reserves, the Iconic Chobe National Park, the Makgadikgadi-Nxai Pans National Park, the Community Conservation region and the Okavango Delta – one of the world’s largest inland deltas. The area also has the largest elephant population in the world, and also zebra and wildebeest migration.

Chobe National Park, in Northern Botswana, has one of the largest concentrations of game in Africa, making it the most biologically diverse within the country. It contains an estimated 50.000 elephants.

The Park has been divided into wildlife management areas.
